Throughout history certain people have emerged from within the mass of humanity to make a positive impact upon our world. Each of these people has captured the imaginations of the public at large and has contributed significantly to the betterment of mankind. Len Steckler envisioned a way to captured the essence of their greatness in unique and affordable expressions of art imagery, which he calls his "Legend Series."
Using his patented Mixtura process, Len Steckler replicates images of these icons and then stretches the printed image over a block of wood. The image is then coated with a scratch proof UV protective coating that gives the impression that the image was actually painted onto the surface of the wood. The final product is archival and virtually indestructible. This first aspect of his Legend Series he calls "Legend Icons."
The second aspect of the Legend Series are "Legend Plates." Len Steckler has developed a process to capture the essence of his Legend Icons on collectable plates. Using a new and innovative process, the printed image can now be replicated on fine porcelain.
The third aspect of the Legend Series are "Legend Tiles." The printed image can also be replicated on a single tile or in a mosaic pattern.
The forth aspect of the Legend Series are "Legend Prints," fine art posters of each of his Legend Icons.
