MIXTURA EDITIONS
["Mixtura" is a patented process]
In his exploration of different mediums with which to work, Len Steckler has developed
a patented process
with which he transfers his new images onto any substrate of his choosing.
With this new technique he is able to add texture and depth to any "one dimensional" image.
Then, through his use of computer scanning and highly advanced graphic printing, he is able to
achieve a three dimensional textured piece.
"....a new depth and dimension is produced in the resulting images, creating an abstract texture
that transcends mere photography or painting alone, and where one cannot discern an original
from the Mixtura print."
The resultant images called "Mixtura Editions"
are then coated to achieve archival quality.
To preserve the integrity of original paintings, Mixtura Editions are sold in limited edition.
Mixtura Editions can be created from any medium.
The Mixturas shown below were originally one dimensional photographs.
They are signed and numbered, and are sold in limited editions.
